10/2/2005 - Photographs and graphics will be an important part of any promotional package you will use, be it print ads, web postings, flyers or mailers. The availability of user-friendly photo editing programs can mean that high-quality, effective photos can be attained. -editor

Promoting your music business is a matter of getting people to know you and to have a good "first impression." The means that will get you known will vary, but almost always pictures and graphics will be an important part of your presentation, be it in a news article, website, print ad or flyer.

With the modern digital camera and readily available photo editing software, there is little excuse for having poor photos for your promotion. You, of course, get your best photos by hiring a professional photographer, but it's amazing how close you can get yourself with a $59.00 camera and its "free software" that you can purchase at Walgreen's.
