In Writing - Somehow & Someway
Report on Marketing Session#2 With Bob & Tom
By Bob Dennis & Tom Gelardi

Contracts, well thought out & well executed are the backbone of "taking care of business" in the music industry.  So any attorney will tell you that you need his/her services before you release any music. As a mater of fact, I'll tell you the same thing.  The common problem is that attorneys get a lot of money for their work, and even a reasonably priced attorney can cost over a thousand dollars to set you up properly to be in the business.  Yet "taking care of business" is a huge key to getting a large record company's help in marketing your music beyond your city limits.

If you don't have the money, do you sit around and do nothing?  Now that doesn't seem to be good advice, does it?  My advice is to start by: Get It In Writing, Somehow Someway.
