The Death Of The Motown Sound?

Recently Obie Benson, bass voice for the Four Tops, passed at the age of 69.  Since Lawrence Payton passed in the mid 1990's and Levi Stubs had to stop performing (due to health reasons) in 2000, the only Top available to carry on is Duke Fakir. 

I had a lot of contact with these four hall-of-fame performers for about 15 years.  I worked at Motown when they first hit and "hung" out with them, as well as recording a couple of their biggest hits after they left Motown.  I had most contact with Lawrence Payton, who was their producer after they left Motown, and probably the least contact with Obie.   The clearest memory I have of Obie ....
