3/4/2005:  I've been talking for a while about making money in music.  Making music is unlikely to make you the money you deserve unless you treat the activity as a business.  Business, however, is often a painful activity for most of us creative types.  So the question becomes, "How can I take care of the business with less headaches and pain?"- this is our theme for the DAP March 2005 tips

By Bob Dennis

And What Is It We're Doing?

If you are completely honest with yourself, you'll probably find that you'd like to make a little music money and, if everything goes right, a significant amount of money. If nothing happens, you'll at least have something to brag and laugh about about with your friends.  That is, if you didn't have to put up with the headaches of taking care of business.
