What The Timing Should Be

I've just added a section to last weeks tip - giving a chart of actions that should be done before and after the release date of the CD for the best kick-off of the product.  The chart shows that work needs to be done 4 months in advance of the release date!

My Timing

As I said in my last tip, I'm getting the product complete by mid-October - way late for having good sales in this Christmas Season.  So I am doing something differently.  I am doing my actions in steps rather than on a specific time schedule.  I expect to have most of the "pre-release" actions completed by February, 2005.  So I'm almost treating this as a early 2005 release rather than a 2004 release.
