The
Biggest Music Offense
Being "in
time" is one of the most important parts of musicianship and
music production. If a tracvk id cut with the drummer
speeding up, slowing down and hitting parts early or late, you
pretty much have to scrap that track and rerecord. But even if
you pay to a "perfect time" drum machine the other parts that
are recorded live have to be in time or you just get a mess of
a production tht doesn't sound good.
Having the
timing of the music is probably even more important than the
singer being in tune. Frank Sinatra and many
well-selling singers often sang flat - people loved them
anyway.
