The Attraction Of Music

In general, people love music.  It soothes the soul and makes drudgery of homework or repetitive, mindless seven-dollar-an-hour work bearable.  It passes the time and gets you out of a bad mood. It helps you "get through the night." It seems everyone loves music.

Today, different then yesteryear, people are a bit more picky about what music they listen to.  If you are listening in an office environment or "hanging with your friends," you compromise and listen to something everyone agrees to; you listen to things you "like" but do not necessarily "love."  In the evening after "the day is done," you get to listen to what you really like.  Today with the "file sharing" and legal cheap/free downloading people can listen to a lot more variety of music and really satisfy their musical hunger.
