Why Do We Want To Know History?

    
I think we are losing something in the quality of sound released today. The "slick" recordings of the big studio is avoided by much of the buying and listening public. Today's public likes to listen to basement and bootleg recordings that do not feature sound quality but "realism in performance." A well-arranged music track is quickly discarded for one that "feels" right. "Polished music" has been replaced by "raw music."
