Lesson 20: Enhance your home page, and link the uploaded file

Lesson 20: Using Easy Designer to Improve your Home Page:

Looking for a way to make your 1-2-3 Publish page look better?  Easy Designer will allow you to choose from a selection of available styles for your page or create a custom style of your own.  This program also allows you to import files you have uploaded to your FTP space by creating links to those files.  In this lesson, you will lay out the text frames, format text, add a link to the file uploaded in lesson 18, and make any corrections, if necessary.

13. To insert another text section, click on Insert, and select Text...

14. Type "Listen" on the top line, go down two lines and type the name of the file you uploaded to your FTP space.
15. Select the word "Listen", and enlarge the font to 18, change the color to deep red, and then center it.
16. Highlight the name of the file and click on Link This Text.

17. Type in the URL to your file and click Ok.

18. The text box will now appear like this.  Click the Ok button.

19. Click the Save button at the top of the window.

You will receive a confirmation page, with your home page address on it.  Save it in your favorite places for easy access.
