Account Controls

Password:
Tired of having to type in your password every time you sign on?  Store your password for automatic sign-on.

Privacy:
Who can see and contact you.  This is the option that allows you to customize your buddy list. 
1. Select the options that are specific to your needs, and then click on the Instant Message tab.  (You may also visit the sound library to select specific sounds for your buddy list)
 

 
2. Select the options that are specific to your needs, and click the Privacy tab.  (You may select an icon to display at the bottom of your instant messages)
 

 
3. The Privacy tab is the option that allows you to block potentially harmful AOL members from sending instant messages to you.

Marketing:
Choose Product and Service Offers.  Wow, This is a big one!!  This is the option you would use to eliminate those annoying AOL pop ups and e-mail offers.  Also, you can have your address taken off the mailing list AOL provides to other companies.

Association:
Select America Online as your preferred application for Web browsing, e-mail and newsgroups.
