Communications
| Mail: |
| Set e-mail display and storage. Personalize your e-mail to fit your specific needs. For instance, I have found, I have a much easier time sending e-mail when both of the boxes under "Writing Mail" are selected. The auto suggest-function fills in what it assumes we will type for an e-mail. If it is incorrect, simply keep typing. The auto-suggest will continue to suggest while you are typing. The resizing options really come in handy when you are inserting a picture into an e-mail (rather than attaching it). You will initially be asked, when inserting a picture, if you would like to have the picture resized. Sometimes the picture comes out very tiny, and need to be adjusted. With the box selected, you can change the size of the picture with a simple right click. |

| Auto AOL: |
| Automatic AOL allows you to go online, immediately or at
times you designate, to: -Read and respond to mail offline -Read and respond to newsgroup or message board postings offline; and -Download files collected in your download manager Using Automatic AOL will save you time - because you can walk away from your computer while Automatic AOL does all the work. |
| Spelling: |
| Customize your dictionary. This option allows you to specify which spelling/grammar situations to call your attention to. |

| By Pressing the Edit key, you will see all of the words you have added to the AOL dictionary. If you inadvertently added a misspelled word, you can delete it through this screen. |

| Itemized editing options can be viewed by clicking on the Advanced button. |
| Options can be turned off by selecting the function, and clicking on Off |
| Font, Text and Graphics: |
| Change the style of your e-mail text. Also, through this option, you can specify the size of text displayed on AOL and the amount of spaced used for online art. |
| Chat: |
| AOL Chat rooms don't always have to appear as disorganized as the rest. You can set your preferences to give you an alphabetical list of others within the chat room, and be notified when there is a new person in the room or when someone leaves. |
