| Lesson 13-d: E-mail Control |
| Have you ever received an e-mail from an AOL member, asking if you would like to see their pictures? If you would like to block the screen name from receiving e-mail from unwanted AOL members, you can place a block on member's screen name, and you'll never have to be bothered by them again. |
| 1. Decide whether or not you want this screen name to receive e-mail, or if you prefer, limited controls. For this lesson, choose Customize Mail Controls for this Screen Name and click Next. |
| 2. Select the option that is appropriate for your screen name. For this lesson, select the option that begins with "Block e-mail from the listed..." Type in the offending AOL member's name, and click Add. |
| 3. Click Next. |
| 4. Decide whether or not this screen name should be sending or receiving attachments, since attachments are one way of spreading a virus. Make the appropriate selection, and click Next. |
| 5. Read the summary window, and make sure it meets with your approval. If so, click Save. If you wish to make changes, click the button that says Prev. |
