Lesson 13-a: Online Timer

There are many reasons for setting an online timer.  Not only can you monitor how much your children use the internet, but also, there are services that charge, according to how long you are using their services.  For instance, there are games available to the screen names that are authorized to get PREMIUM services.  These games charge for every minute you play, and the amount is added to your AOL billing.

1. Default settings are without a limit.  To begin programming the timer, click Next

2. Select the category that applies for the screen name you are customizing.
