| Lesson 5: Sending E-mail with Attachments |
| Sending e-mail attachments can be confusing, at best, if you aren't sure how to do it. We all have the need to send attachments, if we want to share pictures and other files with each other. So put away your stamps and your envelopes, and learn how easy it is to send an attachment through AOL. |
| 1. Click the button that says Attachments in your Write Mail. |
| 2. Then click the Attach button on the Attachments form. |
| 3. Use the Look in dropdown menu to navigate to the folder that contains the object to be attached. |
| 4. Select the object to be attached by clicking on it. |
| 5. Complete the action by clicking the Open button. |
| 6. The Attachments screen will appear, reflecting the desired changes. If you wish to add more objects to the attachment, click on the Attach button and repeat steps 3 though 5. |
| 7. Click on the OK button to complete the process. |
Note: The first file on the attachment list will appear on your Write Mail, next to the "Attachment" button. |
If you attach more than one file, the files will be compressed together, into a zip file. |
